Description
*** NEW, UPDATED IRMER (2017) ***
This 4 part series covers Radiography and Radiation Protection for dental professionals, meeting the GDC’s requirement for five hours CPD, in a five-year cycle, and the requirements of IRMER [Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations] legislation for continuous training in radiography and radiation protection.
These Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER) 2017 replace the 2000 regulations (including amendments made in 2006 and 2011) and deal with the safe and effective use of ionising radiation when exposing patients. Also considered are the Ionising Radiation Regulations (with the IRR 2017 legislation also now replacing IRR99) that are aimed at the protection and health of staff working with ionising radiation.
