Aim:

• Be able to identify and demonstrate the cannulation process from setting up to execution in a live patient

Objectives:

• Identify the medication and equipment needed to set up the cannulation tray
• Demonstrate how to undertake communication with the team to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Demonstrate how to undertake the cannulation on a patient
