With so many courses, events and educational activities out there, Dentinaltubules recognised that they need to move a step ahead and do something different.
We cancelled our congress and most of our courses (this year we are running the CBCT course and 3 restorative courses with Dr Ed McLaren from USA as these are unique courses from educational internationals).
Beyond that, the Tubules events are evolving into Thrive days.
Why Thrive days?
Over the years, our experience has revealed the power of conversations. We've noticed that it isn't just the lectures where everyone lights up. Instead, we find so many Tubulites find some of their most inspirational moments during the coffee breaks, the drinks breaks and the socials. They engage in conversations with others. It is this engagement with the people and the conversations that bring out the small nuaced things that help them move forward. These conversations unravel small tips and pieces of guidance. We all want conversations. We all want our own individual questions answered.
This is what Thrive days will address. This is what Thrive days are all about that. Rich, deep and meaningful conversations in safe, sound environments.
It will have short lectures to create a focus point for discussions, followed by open discussion panels involving the speakers and the audience.
How does that sound?
We have had our first few Thrive days and the feedback has been phenomenal.
Here is one example of feedback from a delegate: “Thank you, your courage has helped me to grow. I have a lot of respect for the way you opened up about problems with honesty and integrity. I see many in the profession who showcase their successes and hide their failures for self preservation; this is not the way to learn. We are lucky to have you as a leader.”
