Video: Growth Diary 17

Audio: Growth Diaries Podcast 17

We have explored growth in so many forms in these diaries. We have discussed how it can enable you, enable your teams and enable your business. We have discussed how the GDC can use it to change the CPD we do. The potential is huge.  We hope you have found value in the posts and are ready to join us on the 7th May for the TubulesLive. If you have still not signed up, please do find the link at the bottom of this email.

We now focus on growth for the team members. We wanted to add some posts on the growth diaries dedicated to the many dental nurses, DCPs and teams out there. We hope the previous posts resonated with you but these next ones are specific to you. The last growth diaries were for the dental nurses, dental hygienists, therapists and our company partners.

However, there is one member of the dental team that very few people consider a member of their "team" because they are not always on site. Yet they are very much part of the success and delivery for many dental practitioners. The lab technician.

Lab technicians are artists. Whether you operate solo or in a group, you have the eyes of an eagle, and the hands of craftsman. Restoration success relies on you.

Yet as the world moves from analogue to digital, your skills and expertise cannot be lost. Growth helps you embrace and grow into this world. As lab technicians, not many people will have the ability to gain the knowledge of digital technologies as well as you, and not many people will be able to share them as well as you. Through growth, you have a big role to play in the industry.

Take the example of Lino Adolf. Lino was a lab technician at Guy's hospital London, when the Tubules CEO, Dhru Shah was undertaking his periodontal specialist training. Dhru observed Lino's growth journey as a technician from a distance. Lino went from being a lab technician in a hospital to using growth to become a fountain of knowledge in the digital world. He particularly familiarised himself with the Dentsply technology in the early days and has taught on their course for years. Lino continues to lead the way, both in teaching and in doing the front line work.

Lab technicians, you can embrace growth, as well as the rest of the team can. You can do this for yourself and to enable and help others.

The options for your growth are limitless. Embrace growth and reach your potential.

To help you, at Dentinal Tubules we have a special rate for lab technicians, so do check in. It is cheaper than most CPD providers and you get growth as part of your membership. Check it out.

When you do not engage in growth, and instead engaged in CPD, you are likely to overcome the 15 challenges.

If you want to rise above those 15 challenges and become a powerhouse in this rapidly changing world, join us at the TubulesLive on the 7th May 2025 as we unravel further.

It also has a list of the 15 common challenges – how many of these do you face?
