Would appreciate some advice on this case. This man presented with a complaint of a discoloured tooth at an examination a few weeks ago. He was seen by my predecessor who had noted pathology on the the UR1 and as far as the patient is aware the discoloration has been there for a number of years, but it is only recently that he has decided to try and get it sorted. The patient is unsure of any specific incident related to trauma, but said he played a lot of rugby in his teen years.
Anyhow I have commenced RCT on the UR1 due to the PA radiolucency. In terms of whitenining the tooth, will internal bleaching work at all? How long would you wait until after RCT before attempting bleaching if it is possible?
