This lecture and hands-on workshop will go through troubleshooting anterior composite restorations in terms of occlusion and a breakdown of aesthetic parameters. This will include marginal integration, shade analysis and incisal edge anatomy. The day will focus on these factors to a high level and include a number of small details that culminate in a predictable outcome.
Aims:
Highlight and remedy common functional and aesthetic considerations of anterior direct restorations
Objectives:
- Understand the provision of a predictable workflow to reduce clinical variables
- Methods of application of functional considerations
- Details included in aesthetic integration at a high level for anterior composites
- Methods of mixing composite shades to obtain the appropriate result
