Aims and Objectives:
- The limitations of composite resin materials will be discussed with specific reference to their usefulness and longevity in managing very complex cases.
- Strategies for maximising the prognosis of these materials in these challenging applications will be thoroughly discussed.
- Rather than focus on successful treatments alone, I hope to review failures I have experienced over many years of practice how that has shaped my use of composite in the management of the worn dentition.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand the limitations of large composite restorations.
- Learn techniques to improve the delivery of large composite restorations.
- Understand how patient selection will affect your patients treatment outcome
