Hesham teaches on the MSc in Orthodontics as Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester, as well as delivering lectures to undergraduate dental students. He leads the Northern University Consortium educational programme for post-graduate orthodontic trainees.
He has lectured at a national level with the British Orthodontic Society, Dentinal Tubules and the Orthodontic Nurses Group, whilst also delivering GDP-specific education through his educational platform Orthodontia and via online webinars.
He works in a prestigious private practice and as a hospital consultant, treating everything from simple alignment to complex malocclusions and facial deformity using a multi-disciplinary approach. He is experienced in the use of fixed appliances, aligners, and lingual fixed appliances.
Hesham has an enthusiasm for research and academic writing, and is published in notable orthodontic journals.
