Peri-implantitis - Diagnosis & Management of Peri-implantitis

Dental implant therapy in the last twenty years in general dental practice has risen considerably and almost all clinicians are treating patients who have had implant therapy. Diagnosis and management of implant complications are subjects that all clinicians need to be aware of and practice. Preventing problems is the best way to deal with peri-implant disease as global research has shown that a high incidence of severe implant disease occurs in almost in one in ten dental implants.

This workshop will focus on the diagnosis of peri-implant disease, maintenance along with surgical and nonsurgical management.
