Julia Furley is a senior barrister and founding partner of JFH Law, a boutique law firm that
specialises in advising dentists and other health care professionals. Called to the bar in
2000, she practiced as a barrister at the Independent Bar for over a decade, before
establishing JFH Law, one of the first legal disciplinary partnerships in the country.
Julia advises businesses in all aspects of company law and employment law,
and represents companies and individuals appearing before the courts, employment
tribunal and appeal tribunal. She regularly appears before the Professional Conduct
Committee of the GDC and GMC, representing dentists and doctors.
She is currently acting in a number of cases of significant importance for the dental
profession, including a claim under the Human Rights Act being brought against the CQC
by a number of dental practices.
