Get Understood solves the problem that there are plenty of dentists that don’t want to sell stuff. If you are one, and we think you might be, somehow you want more of your patients to become loyal and motivated and to understand your proposed dental treatment. We will help you with this.
This is not a sales course to teach you to sell more dentistry. This workshop will help you look at your communication skills and know how you can adapt them in different situations with different patients, in ways that are consistent with your values, and with the insights and experiences of a legally qualified expert witness.
Learning outcomes:
- Get better understood by your patients in order for them to understand your treatment options, provide valid and informed consent and increase treatment plan acceptance
- Discover what makes selling to your patients uncomfortable for you and how to avoid those feelings and get results in your surgery
- Learn how small changes in what you say can make a huge difference, and how to apply those changes in all conversations
- Create your own communication structure that will help you understand what really matters to your patients and the treatment risks that are material to them

- The need to close or handle objections
- Sales techniques and tedious role plays
- The obligation to make your patients say ‘yes’ to you
- Radical changes to the way that you communicate with your patients
- Scripts or techniques to learn
